aphids These are Aphids, they come in many colors the body shape remains the same,aphids (2) what I have learned is they are like the cockroach, if you see one there are 10,000 more!

 

The Army Worm Moth looks like this. army worm mothThe moth flies and lays eggs, that hatch a worm that looks like thisfal army worm, I bet you have this guy around Oklahoma, I know I have! The moth flys from June to July and so that is why the work is called the Fall Army Worm.

 

Cabbage attracts these guys,  the Yellow/White Cabbage Worm Mothcabbage moth, it is the dots on the wing that helps you to identify them, they produce these Cabbage Worms cabbage lopper worm . I know that you have seen this guy, and look what they do!CabbageWorm damage   Then this moth, the Cabbage Looper Moth looks like thiscaggabe looper worm moth , and transforms in to the Cabbage Looper Wormcabbageworm .

 

 

Now I would like to introduce to you to the little guys that can destory a crop of corncorn ear worm moth this is the Corn Earworm, see how little they start outcorn ear worm newly hatched Corn Ear worm.  Then before you know it you look behind the husk and silk to find this Giant Corn Ear Wormcornearworm3!

Then this other pest the Corn Root Beetle, and they look so harmless, kind of like a mis shaped and off color lady bug, corn root wormdon't be fooled! The Corn Bore, corn stalk borerbores into the stalk and the ear.
